Coolness!! I see the tiles are 6x6, but what's the 12x12 Battle Board mentioned, and how does that work?

THE BATTLE BOARD
We call the 12” x 12” area that the game is played on the Battle Board. This can be as simple or as elaborate as you like, with or without pieces of terrain on it. Here’s how we do it:
• Depending upon the Encounter (page 15) one side will be starting on the Battle Board (defender) and the other side will move onto it (attacker).
• Place the moving side within 3” of one board edge.
• Place the defending side within 3” of the opposite edge.

Example – The black side is moving and enters the Battle Board. The white side is set up on the opposite edge. Always try and match up opposing figures across from each other with the Leader always in the center.

No need for terrain as the moving side counts as not being in cover on the first turn while the stationary side does. After the shooting starts they all count as in cover.

How do these work as compared to the ATZ City Deck?

City Deck allows you to build a few streets with individual cards.
This lets you build bigger neighborhoods.

How does one print these? Are they ready to print both sides as is or do you need to adjust to get a double sided tile?

Went to order these, as they will clearly be just what I wanted for a game I'm running, but am confused by the price: one for "pdf" and one for "print." What is the difference? Don't you have to print pdf to use it?

Ed, thanks for explaining. Just now bought the PDF, as long ago She got me a laminating machine to use to make such into useful game components. Really elegant idea, both the tiles themselves and the rules on how to best use them in an adventure. Thanx!
