Got a very wordy write up over at my blog:

Nothing fancy, just lasers and missiles on a virtual tabletop.

Just screen captures. I played it using Tabletop Simulator and some guy's rendering of Battlefleet Gothic ships.

Really easy to do. Tabletop Simulator works really well for smaller THW titles. I even play Nuts on it from time to time.

It takes a bit of patience to grab scenery and such from the steam workshop, but once you do, you can have smoking ruins, fully rendered tanks and all sorts of good stuff.

Thanks for all the kind words ya'll. If you're still interested, the beginning of the Defense mission was just posted. verywordy.wordpress.com

Looking forward to see what THW and Tabletop Simulator have planned!

Here's a question for anyone paying attention:

Would me doing a series of posts on how to use Tabletop Simulator for minis gaming be useful? I've got a big boardgame playthrough on deck, but teaching how to measure inches, find terrain, populate a table, write on the index cards, etc. Worth a darn?

(newest post up, BTW: Fighters for the win!)

Yep, that would be helpful!
God made wizards, and God made muggles, but Samuel Colt made them equal!
