Lovecraft's Revenge AAR continuation

Postby Tekawiz » Fri Sep 22, 2017 9:53 pm

Here's a continuation of Who's Eating the Chicken AAR. It takes place again at Edd's Pub since that's what I randomly rolled for a location to investigate.

Since starting this campaign, I've added quite a few rules to Lovecraft's Revenge, some of my ideas and many from other THW rule books, making the narrative and outcomes more varied.

Very nice report. That's one hell of a Saurian!

Well you survived two scenes thus far, even taking on a giant Saurian. That's promising.

I'm setting up for the next scene which will be night time. Because of the "Guilt Points" mod I'm using, I'm pretty sure my Star is going to start acting weird. He has been a sole survivor of 2 scenes already = 2 Guilt Points.

That was a hilarious report. The saurian looked scary but was surprisingly easy to kill it seems. Lovecrafts Revenge is next on my list of THW to look into.

Is Edd's Pub something you have come up with or is it something official?

Edds Pub is an official game. It should be under the Fantasy section.

The Saurian was a two part kill, one to get him to duck back and the other to finish him off.

I got another hilarious Lovecraft's Revenge AAR coming up.

Edd's Pub is a good too have since it can fit in with any fantasy or pulp ruleset set. I like it because it's a place where I can start my characters and a logical place to recruit grunts. Located in downtown Arkham.

That explains why I missed it. The fantasy section is one of the few I have not looked into yet. Seems like a fun setting though.

And can work for any period with a little tweaking. Swords are pistols, spears are rifles, magic can be Psy powers.
