The Reluctant Bride - an AAR for High Moon

Postby shon maxx » Mon Aug 21, 2017 1:05 pm

While putting together my Salem game, I came up with this idea for a High Moon game after watching a movie not long ago. IT was a pretty fun game, especially with one Star against an entire gang.

Enjoy!

I've also thought about rolling on the Action Table every turn. Haven't done it yet.

The Damage spell can save the day if you're out numbered. It's a killer if you're on the receiving ala Lovecraft's Revenge.

If you think that's bad, originally, the number of d6 you passed with the Damage spell was the number of d6 you rolled on the Damage table. So a Rep 8 creature/deity could be rolling 4d6 for damage.

However it helped Kara considerably, along with her Blink ability and definitely Star Power.

I like the Blink attribute. Since it's a creature attribute I thought it would be cool if a human had that ability, so I created a Magician character and assigned Blink to him. He may show up in my LR campaign.

Very cool story, well done and enjoyed the read!

Is the "Blink" ability defined in High Moon, I don't have that rule book as of yet is why I ask?

Thanks,
Brian

Thanks and yes it's a witch's ability in High Moon. It normally allows the witch to move a certain distance and possibly force a new In Sight test, but since I tend to use the battle board for HM, I just made it where the witch can move anywhere on the board and the opponent counts as moving on the Action table (from Fortunes).
