Here you go, an aid for playing Deadly Dreams games outside the scenarios.

Also, here's a sample of game play:

Hello!

Good. Glancing over it, I am not absolutely sure how that integration will work, but I guess once I settle down to read it in detail, things will work out.

Thanks for your efforts.

Yours,

The easiest way is to use the Story and combat tables from LR and the encounter tables and maps from the Dreamer's Guide.

Jay, Thanks for posting this player aid.

After reading through the rules it seems like you go into Dreamlands and check for PEFS. Do you have suggestions for using the Dreamlands for Advancing a Scene - solving a puzzle, find an item or question a person of interest and getting clues?

Besides becoming OOF or OD to leave Dreamlands, does the character just wake up to leave Dreamlands and make a roll on the Aftermath table?

Do you have any descriptions you can post of the creatures in Deadly Dreams? The creature descriptions in LR are helpful since I can visualize what they are. I visualize a Cat Soldier as a house cat wearing armor and a helmet.

Use the Advance the Scene and Person, Place, or Thing from tables from LR. Use the Dreamer's Guide for determining Locations and opponents, as well as the new Rising Darkness table.

If you complete a story, roll on the Aftermath table and then wake up normally. To end a story prematurely, roll on the Escape table in LR.

I'll add some for some of the less-clearer creatures of DD in a future update.

Cat Soldiers, BTW, look just like normal cats, except they're better-skilled in combat. That Tabby wandering in front of your home may actually be defending it from the forces of darkness!

Well, that certainly clears it all up for me.
Thanks Shon.

Thanks for the Player Aid Shon - very much appreciated.
Now that Deadly Dreams is out do you have any plans for other supplements ?

Just as an aside I stumbled across this Lovecraft inspired film 'Shadow Bound'. Would make for a great game I reckon.
The movie can be found here http://shadowboundseries.com/

cheers

Pretty cool.

And Bloodcurdling Screams (introducing the Yithians and including some horror-themed scenarios) is waiting in line. How soon it's released depends, most-likely, on how well Deadly Dreams continues to sell. I've got plenty of ideas so if people keep buying them, I'll keep writing them!

Yep, Reaper boys were all good, just need to wait until the site opens up for vendors, it is 5 months away.

Jay, I was looking over the creatures in the Dreamer's Guide and see references to Nyarlathotep and Azathoth. I don't see anyy stats on these creatures listed in Dreamlands in the QRS.

I also don't see stats for Lava Gatherer and Disciple of Nowhere.
