Slugger covers up and we go to the Boxing Table.

That will be Okie with 8d6 and Slugger with 7d6 with 4s as successes.

Okie: 2,3,5,3,5,5,6,5 - 3 successes
Slugger: 1,1,5,4,5,4,5 - 4 successes - good thing he covered up!

The fighters give each other a well deserved hug, which the referee quickly breaks up.

The second round is already over. That was a quick one without any action at all.

F: Thank goodness I picked this round to go to the men's room.

Points for this round ended at 4-2. No one was knocked down, so let's see how the judges sided:

5,2 - The judges are split, but decide that Okie is the winner. 10-9. Total score 20-18.

New round starts with Bonus Dice at Okie with 7 and Slugger with 1.

We're in the middle of the ring on the Stalking Table. Base rolls are 7d6 versus 7d6.
Only choice is Bonus Dice at this point.

A: Looks like Slugger has to get a big finish here to win this fight.
F: I hope he ate a can of spinach or something, because this'll be an uphill battle.
A: Well, it looks like Slugger's strategy is built on momentum. If he can start the fight with advantage, the advantage builds until the other guy is lying on the canvas.
F: Unfortunately Okie stops that with a lucky jive and he's about as likely to touch canvas now as Bob Ross is.
A: Too soon, man, too soon.

Okie burns a precious precious Bonus Die, leading to an 8d6 versus 7d6 roll.

Okie: 6,5,5,5,4,5,4,1 - :o  :o  One success!
Slugger: 6,4,5,1,6,2,3 - 3 successes

Slugger gains a point (0-1) and gains advantage on the Boxing Table.

F: I knew it! I knew it! It finally gave out!
A: His luck?
F: No! The string on his hobo pants! It snapped and Slugger took advantage!

We'll be rolling on the Boxing Table, base rolls will be 8d6 versus 8d6. Bonus dice are now 6 versus 1.
PMs for Bonus Dice or Covering Up.

Okie burns another d6 (now at 5 versus 1), which gives us 9d6 versus 8d6.

Okie: 6,2,6,6,5,4,5,4,1 - 2 successes? Now this is just getting silly.
Slugger: 6,1,5,3,4,4,3,3 - 4 successes

Slugger scores 2 points (0-3)! Okie loses a Boxing Die (now 1)! Okie's against the ropes!

Now to the Taking Control Table.

Base rolls are: Okie 5d6 and Slugger with 11d6 (+1 for Brawler, +2 for vicious and in control and +1 for Okie being on the ropes).

A: Things are not looking good for Okie, he's finally starting to sweat out there.
F: You try fighting in front of all these people with your pants falling off and see how you look!

PMs for Bonus Dice (5-1), covering up and headhunting.

Both fighters burn a bonus die (4-0) and Okie covers up. Here we go!

Okie: 4,5,1,6,3,5 - 3 successes
Slugger: 3,6,4,5,5,5,3,3,5,3,4,4 - 4 successes!

A: Looks like Okie's still in this fight, but that set him back on his heels.
F: Luck can only last two rounds. Bet the boys in Vegas are thrilled to know that.

Slugger scores 1 point (0-4)! Okie is now backed into a corner! Okie loses 1 Boxing die (now 0)! We stay on the Taking Control Table!

That leaves basic rolls at Okie with 4d6 (Just his Aggressive stat) and Slugger at 13d6 (+1 for Brawler, +2 for Vicious and in control, +2 for victim in corner, +1 for zero dice bonus).

Again, Bonus dice (4-0), headhunting or covering up. Also, since it's the last round, you may also want to choose to Dig Deep. By choosing this, you can burn a point of Stamina for the remainder of the fight (which will severely limit your chances of standing back up or regaining Boxing dice) to get +3d6 on a roll on the Taking Control table or Recovery Table.

Woops, to clarify, one can only Dig Deep if one is out of Bonus Dice.

Page 8 of the book. Not like we're playing Star Army here...

A: This looks like it! The fighters are going all out, trying to finish it all!

Okie burns 4 Bonus Dice and covers up (0-0), Slugger Digs Deep, dropping his Stamina to 2 and adding 3d6, WHILE headhunting!
Okie 10d6 with 4s as successes and Slugger 16d6! (I'm almost nervous to roll this!)

Okie: 6,6,6,2,4,1,4,3,2,6 - 6 successes
Slugger: 3,2,6,3,5,6,4,6,4,1,4,5,5,3,1,3 - 7 successes

*phew*

Okie stays stuck in the corner! Okie would lose a Boxing Die, but still has 0.

A: These are some fighters. They are more even matched than even we thought. Okie can take punishment, and Slugger's lasting far longer than we thought.
F: I have to hand it to them, too. And that's the kindest thing you'll hear me say all night.

So we're back on the Taking Control Table, with Okie at 4d6 and Slugger at 13d6. Neither of you have Bonus Dice, but you BOTH may Dig Deep at this point.

Didn't Slugger score a point? He should have 5 points now, right?
