Slugger adds two Bonus Dice while Okie sticks to 0 again as the two duke it out as the 1st round nears it's end.

Okie 6d6 vs 9d6 Slugger

Okie: 5,6,4,1,3,4 - 2 successes (uh oh!)
Slugger: 2,1,5,6,6,4,5,2,6 - 3 successes (are you effing kidding me?)

Oops, checking the Boxing Table, I forgot to give Okie 1d6 for Slugger being a Brawler:

Okie: 4

Sorry for that miscommunication, and I hope that didn't affect Bonus dice, though you see from the outcome, it didn't affect anything anyway. Jeez the dice are coming high tonight.

So Slugger scores a point (0-1), but you guys stay on the Boxing Table, which was probably not Slugger's intention. Bonus Dice totals are now Okie with 8 and Slugger with 4.

Without bonuses, dierolls will be Okie 7d6, Slugger 7d6.

A: Slugger seems to be the better boxer here, but Okie is-
F: Well, clearly he's just the better dancer. Look at him, he won't let Slugger get a good solid fist on him.
A: It's a good strategy, I suppose.
F: But yes, me and half the sailors out here agree, DO SOMETHING YA LAZY MUG!

On the Boxing Table again, and no Bonus Dice were spent by either side, making it an even 7 dice a piece!

Okie: 5,2,6,3,1,3,1 - 5 successes!
Slugger: 6,1,6,5,1,4,5 - 2 successes

Okie scores 3 points (3-1)! Slugger falls back to the ropes and loses 1 Boxing die (Down to 3)!

Now we move on to the Taking Control Table.

Without Bonus Dice, Okie will have 7d6 (+1 for Slugger being on ropes) and Slugger will have 7d6 (does not have Vicious bonus for not being in control).

I started my new job yesterday, so I'm updating a bit less frequently. Sorry 'bout that. It's still 8 Bonus dice to 4. Let me know if you're spending any, if you're covering up, and now Okie can also state if he's Headhunting.

F: Hey, lookie at that. He listened to me!
A: Right, I'm sure he was waiting for your okay.

A: I don't think Slugger saw that coming, he looked really surprised.
F: You got that right, he just ducked under that hook, got right under his chin and led him to the ropes.
A: Looks like Slugger's on the defensive for the first time this fight!
F: Good thing, too, Okie's trying to take his head off!

No Bonus dice being used, but Okie's headhunting while Slugger's covering up.

That makes Okie 7d6 versus Sluggers 9d6 with 4's as successes as well.

Okie: 5,5,4,1,1,3,3 - four successes!
Slugger: 3,1,2,2,6,6,6,4,3 - six successes!

Slugger hangs in there until the bell rings! END OF ROUND 1!

The fighters retire to their corners.

Slugger rolls to regain his lost Boxing die: 1,4 - he's back up.
Okie won the round on points (3-1), let's see if the Judges agreed since there was no knockdown:
3,4 - The judges are split, but it is scored 10-9 for Okie.

BEGINNING OF ROUND 2!

The fighters meet in the middle of the ring, each renewed. Okie with 8 Bonus Dice, Slugger with 4.

Basic rolls on the Stalking Table: Okie 7d6 (I didn't give you your 1d6 for Steady before!) Slugger 7d6

Only choices now are for Bonus dice. Only two rounds remain. Vegas Odds are now 2:1 in Okie's favor. Can Slugger change things around?

*DING*

A: Looks like Slugger needed that rest, because he's coming in swinging.
F: He tried that last round and look where it got him, Arnie.
A: Okie's luck can't last forever.

Slugger burns 1d6 to make it 7d6 versus 8d6 on the Stalking Table.

Okie: 5,4,1,1,3,6,4 - 3 successes
Slugger: 5,1,6,2,2,2,5,1 - 5 successes

F: Yup, and the way he just took that punch to the cheekbone, I think I saw some of his luck pop out his nose.

Slugger scores a point early in the round (0-1) and has an advantage on the Boxing table:

Basic roll is Okie with 8d6 (+1 for Quickness +1 for Slugger's Brawling skill) and Slugger with 8d6 (+1 for having the advantage)
Bonus dice are Okie with 8 and Slugger with 3.

Decisions now include Bonus Dice and covering up on the Boxing Table.

F: Slugger is going for gusto, much in the same way I go for gumbo.
A: Ye- um. I don't know how to follow that.

Slugger burns another bonus die. Okie 8d6 versus Sluggers 9d6. Bonus dice are Okie with 9d6 and Slugger with 2d6.

Okie: 6,6,3,3,2,4,4,6 - 3 successes
Slugger: 6,2,4,1,2,4,5,5,3 - 4 successes

Slugger scores himself another point (0-2), but we stay on the Boxing Table, Slugger losing the advantage.

A: Okie's keeping his feet under him, even after that barrage of hits. He can sure take a punch, that kid.

Basic roll is Okie with 8d6 (+1 for Quickness +1 for Slugger's Brawling skill) and Slugger with 7d6.

Again Bonus Dice and Covering up choices on the Boxing table.

A: Looks like Slugger's trying to rack up the points, hoping to win this round and take it all in the third.
F: Nah, I bet he'd rather finish it in this round, I don't think he'll last in the third, Okie's got too much steam left in the tank.
A: Don't you mean gas?
F: I'm old fashioned.

Slugger burns another d6 and Okie holds fast, leading to 8d6 versus 8d6.

Okie: 5,2,5,6,3,3,3,6 - 4 successes
Slugger: 5,6,2,6,3,5,6,2 - 3 successes

Okie scores a point (1-2), but we still stay on the Boxing table. This is going to be a long round...

F: See what I mean? He's stepping all around those punches, the judges have to realize that.
A: With my eyes, a lot of it looks like luck over skill.
F: I'd rather be lucky than good.

So again on the Boxing table with Okie with 8 bonus dice and Slugger with 1. Base rolling is Okie's 8d6 and Slugger's 7d6.

A: I think Slugger's getting frustrated out there.
F: I know I would be, he should have gotten some good hits out there by now.
A: No kidding.
F: Not to mention while this fight has gone on, like 15 new games have come out and I haven't had a chance to play any of them!

No bonus dice were spent, but Slugger covers up, presumably hoping to get better standing on the Boxing table later. That leaves Okie with 8d6 and Slugger with 7d6 but with 4s as successes.

Okie: 5,2,1,6,4,3,6,2 - 4 successes
Slugger: 6,6,3,1,6,6,6 - 2 successes

:?

A: I'm at a loss for words. Slugger simply can not catch a break during this fight.
F: Watch what you say, there may be a break after all.

Okie scores 2 points (3-2), Slugger loses 1 boxing die (down to 3) and is backed into the ropes. We move to the Taking Control Table.

Without modification we have Okie with 7d6 (+1 for having Slugger on the ropes) and Slugger with 7d6 (again, no Vicious Bonus, but +1 for Brawler)

Okie has 8 Bonus Dice to Slugger's 1. You can now choose to Coverup or Headhunt.

I would also recommend josta playing the lottery. :|

No Bonus Dice are spent, but again Okie Headhunts, while Slugger Covers Up.

A: We have a repeat of the end of last round, will Okie's run of good luck hold up?
F: I'm just hoping his hobo pants will hold up, that string is barely holding on.
A: You told me you weren't going to bring that back up.
F: Sorry.

Okie rolls 7d6 while Slugger rolls 9d6 with 4s as successes.

Okie: 3,6,3,6,1,2,4 - 4 successes (notice a trend here?)
Slugger: 5,2,2,1,6,1,1,2,1 - 7 successes (and not a 4 to be seen...yeesh)

The fighters clinch and the ref sends them back to the middle of the ring. We're half way through the middle of the round. We check to see if Slugger regains his lost Boxing die:

2 - success.

We're back to normal. 7d6 versus 7d6 on the Stalking Table with Okie with 8 bonus dice and Slugger with 1. Let me know about using those Bonus Dice.

F: Let's GO! Gilmore Girls starts in ten minutes!
A: Is that show even on?
F: I don't know, it was the funniest show I could think of.
A: *sigh*

In an event as monumental as Hannibal crossing the Alps, Okie uses a Bonus Die!

So that's Okie with 8d6 versus Slugger with 7d6.

Okie: 3,6,2,2,1,2,5,2 - 6 successes. Yeesh!
Slugger: 4,3,3,4,4,1,6 - 3 successes.

Okie scores a point (4-2) and gains an advantage on the Boxing Table.

So we're on Boxing Table with Okie with 9d6 (+1 for advantage) and Slugger with 7d6.

Again, choices are Bonus Dice (which are now 7-1) and covering up.

A: You know, now I'm starting to wish I didn't stand behind the underdog.
