Hello !

I like :
- The combat system of 2HDC
- The characters details & attributes list of WHL
- The weapons management of 2HDC
- The magic system of WHL

I think I will took the relevant rules of each, but I'm strugling on the PEF resolution.

Do you have any advices, or maybe updated tables which can be used ?

I actually prefer using the dungeon system in WHL.

Try this.

PEF RESOLUTION
2 PEF RESOLUTION
(Taken versus PEF Rep of 4)
# D6 PASSED RESULT
2 CONTACT!
Count the total of the passing d6.
• 7+ = NPCs equal to your group, +1.
• 6 = NPCs equal to your group.
• 5 = NPCs equal to your group.
• 4 = NPCs equal to your group.
• 3 or less = NPCs equal to your group, –1.
Can never face less than 1 Character.
Roll 2d6 and add the scores together.
• “7” – “1 & 6”: You have run into an Enemy.
• “7” – “2 & 5”: You have only met before.
• “7” – “3 & 4”: You have run into a Friend.
1 Contact? Not quite.
Immediately re-take the test using 3d6 counting the lowest 2d6 scores.
0 No Contact! If this is the last PEF of the Encounter and no contact has been made, count as passing 2d6. Otherwise no NPCs are met.

8 = Same number as your figures.
7 = Same number as your figures.
6 = One more than your figures.
5 = One less than your figures.
4 = Two more than your figures.
3 = Two less than your figures.
2 = Three more than your figures.
Can never run into less than one figure.
1 Something’s out there! Resolve all subsequent PEFs using 3d6 counting the lowest two scores.
0 False alarm! If this is the last PEF and no contact has occurred, count as if passed 2d6. Roll 2d6 to determine the number of figures met.

Hello !

In the process of mixing the rules, instead of switching back & forth between the 2 rules book, I began to create my own tables on Google Sheet.

I'll do for equipement, attributes, etc...

I've done it for cloths & armor. What do you think ?

The one I modified is the "Cloak of the Winds". As I want to use the board movement rules like in Bugs & other (when out of a dungeon), and the combat rules of THDC, I will not have the "Recover from Knocked down test". So I changed it with a roll on damage table against an Impact of 3.

I also add "Magical Value" when needed.

The other advantage of those tables is that we can use them with or without WHL and it add more items for THDC :)
