No smoke, no mirrors, just a great game.

It's a broad topic, but it's essentially anything pre-gun era. Warrior Heroes, Red Sand Blue Sky, Rally Round the King for a start.

Talked to Craig Acheson this morning about the tiles, which are great and reasonably priced. Maybe next week?

Time to readjust the buying budget?

Possibly...

It's a high priority but I do also need some cheap'ish fighters/spaceships and www.tin-soldier.com has the Starguard starships on sale at 20% off through December 15th.

Not sure (got rid of them years ago for NAC and FSE Light Carriers [GZG stuff] back in the day) if they would work together.
Gracias,

Glenn

I have my D&D minis, my Reaper Bones, my Red Box Games, my Dwarven Forge dungeon tiles and my Dwarven Forge caverns on the way... what I don't have, is a really good ruleset to put them to use! I'm really looking for a good set of dungeon crawler rules that can be played solo or coop that emphasize adventuring and exploration over timed mechanics (i.e. "you lose if you don't clear the dungeon in 7 turns" type of stuff') and allow for RPG elements and campaign play.

Hoping this ruleset fills that void.

Oh yeah, I had some of those. Didn't know the manufacturer. John, the owner, is a good friend and class act all the way.

Actually, if you know/follow the history of Starguard, John's WW1 planes, (not my scale or I would own too many,) or his paper models it does make a kind of historical sense. :ugeek:

Yes, a very classy gentleman who has sold me more than a few castings from discontinued figures (molds failing, pshaw, I need those "Hoppers", John,) when I asked nicely. And I always knew upfront if he thought the molds were wonky and he wasn't going to have new ones made. And he has some stuff that is hard to find elsewhere easily - http://tin-soldier.com/scars.html or http://tin-soldier.com/strucks.html or even http://tin-soldier.com/doe1.html for example - great niche fillers.

Yeah, a gentleman of the old school... 8-)

Glenn

I have a selection of old Heritage Dungeon Dwellers miniatures that would be great for this.
