No smoke, no mirrors, just a great game.

It's a broad topic, but it's essentially anything pre-gun era. Warrior Heroes, Red Sand Blue Sky, Rally Round the King for a start.

I can't wait. It was wanting better dungeon crawl rules to go with the Lego Heroica board games is how I discovered THW in the first place.

I'm not much of a role player these days, though miniature wargaming or board gaming happens regularly. A solid set of readily available dungeon crawl rules would be great.

Will it be simple enough that the basic rules can be taught to a group of mildly inebriated convention attendees in less than 10 minutes?

Yep. I've taught it to two 8 year olds, whihc are similar to mildly inebriated convention attendees. Or is it the other way around? But yes, I really wanted a simple but challenging game.

Payday is tomorrow and Hobby budget is less now that "part time" for the wife means 3 x 8 and not 40 plus hours a week... Yes, the company needed help with two short notice resignations in key positions "across the river" but they don't get paid in either state if my wife doesn't due her "part time" job, too...

Money was nice but back to being serious...

So...

Timeline?

Should I hold out for a very close "dungeon crawl" rules set? That is my #1 interest right now!

Should I instead buy Warrior Heroes Warbands? 8-)

I have RRtK and I can use Swordplay for skirmish gaming... until I convince myself I "need" Warrior Heroes - Legends and/or Red Sand Black Moon - Fantasy Gladiatorial Combat.

God, I am a THW junkie...

Wait... Captains and Kings... :geek:

Joust... :ugeek:

Pretty immune to Charioteer... right now. :?

:ugeek:
Gracias,

Glenn

Talked to Craig Acheson this morning about the tiles, which are great and reasonably priced. Maybe next week?
